Our Tampa Bay Event is now in full effect. This year there are 17 active participants for our trip to Tampa, Florida and it promises to be a joyful event. A full detailed schedule of pre-planned activities include, as follows:
Thursday, September 24, 2026 – Arrival at Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Airport, 555 N Westshore Blvd, Tampa, FL 33609. Those of you arriving at the hotel on Thursday, please text Omar or I your room number after checking in. If possible, we may meet for dinner later that evening somewhere in the area.
Friday, September 25, 2026 – For those interested there will be city Segway guided tour. Magic Carpet Glide 410 E Madison St, Tampa, FL 33602. http://magiccarpetglide.com/ . The tour we’re planning on will be at 10:30am. Log onto the provided link and schedule and prepay for your tour. Our planned time is 10:30am, so schedule it for that time only!! After an early (free breakfast at the hotel) we’ll gather and Uber to Magic Carpet Glide for the tour. Afterwards we’ll be in YoYo mode! For those of you who don’t remember, YoYo means (You’re on your own). Feel free to do whatever tickles your fancy! Just be safe and keep in touch with someone who knows where you are. (No man left behind!)
Saturday, September 26, 2026 @ (11am) – T-shirt and Hat distribution! At approximately 11am thru 11:30am, please meet at Richard’s room for your 2026 DTDT commemorative Tee and hat! (You may also receive your virtual tailgate ticket for Sunday)! I want to get those distributed before our next event!
Saturday, September 26, 2026 @ (1pm) – Meet n Greet! Whiskey Joe’s Tampa, 7720 Courtney Campbell Cswy, Tampa, FL 33607. Our planned meet n greet is scheduled for 2pm Saturday, 9/26/26 at the aforementioned address! We will be group Ubering to the location from our hotel. We’ll be meeting in the hotel lobby at 1pm sharp to Uber share to Whiskey Joe’s Tampa. (This event is paid for by DTDT (excluding alcoholic beverages). Please, do not miss the Meet n Greet! other than the Tailgate and game, this may be the only time we are together as an entire group. We will also be distributing your virtual tailgate and gameday tickets! Afterwards, (YoYo)!!
Sunday, September 27, 2026 @ (11am) – Meet in the hotel lobby to prepare to group Uber to our scheduled (prepaid) Tailgate event sponsored by (Tailgreeter). 4011 N. Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33607. With your virtual ticket, you will receive an arm/wristband at the entrance for VIP access to all of the available food and drinks from 12pm to 3:30pm (approximately 30 min. before kickoff). Afterwards we’re headed into the game.
Sunday, September 27, 2026 @ (4:05pm) – Raymond James Stadium, 4201 Dale Mabry Hwy Tampa, FL 33607. Game between the Home, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Visiting Minnesota Vikings!.
