Gentlemen. The time is near once again for DTDT to visit the San Diego area and participate in an event at Petco Park. Ivan Mendelson has once again struck gold and is allowing all those who would like to participate in our San Diego Padres event (in the suite) to jump on the bandwagon and get ready to ride!! We are cutting off the participant list at 30 (No exceptions). We would like to begin tallying up a participant list to see who are interested. Please RSVP Ivan, Omar or Richard if you plan to participate. The Game Date is: Saturday, August 1st. (Which means many of us will probably want to travel to the San Diego area that Friday, July 31st). Let’s just say the weekend for this event will be slated (Friday, July 31st thru Sunday, August 2nd). The game will feature a matchup between the San Diego Padres and the San Francisco Giants! Yeah, I know…Sorry Dodger fans!! (Including myself). But, hey, when has our DTDT events been centered around the gameday matchups? It really about us getting together and enjoying a fun filled weekend! Anyway, please RSVP and pay the $25 cover for the event. Thank you all for your continued participation!

Selection 2026 Location
Gentlemen, we have concluded the voting process and the verdict is in. The majority of those who voted picked Tampa Bay as our next DTDT Location. The finalists were Houston, Philadelphia, and Tampa Bay. Tampa won over the other two locations by a near two to one margin. That being said, there was no question as to where our 2026 DTDT Event would take place. Tampa also happens to be where my brother-in-law and long time DTDT charter member, (Kenneth Prince) resides. He was pleased to find out that we would be bringing DTDT to his neck of the woods! He has already begun “advanced scouting” for activities in the Tampa Bay area. He has also assisted in contacting Tampa Bay Buccaneers Ticket Managers/Agents to prepare for our pending group ticket purchases for our gameday event. Area hotels are in the process of being researched as well as a host of potential activities for the group to participate in while visiting the Tampa area. Once the 2026 NFL Schedule is released (possibly around mid April) there will be a more definitive process of selections. Including which game we will choose to see. Until then, remember, you may begin paying your DTDT Deposit for this years event at anytime. You may make partial payments if necessary. The fee remains $450 and are payable in many different ways. Please start payments ASAP! (As always, if a gamedate is selected and it doesn’t correspond with your schedule, you will receive a full refund). (SEE DTDT BYLAWS RULES AND REGULATIONS; Article “B”.)
